Décor Hunting at Shed Eclectic Home

Fork and Spoon Decal

A simple add of a giant fork and spoon to our kitchen was just the flair this bare wall needed. I found the decals at my favorite Maplewood shop Shed. I love the great décor you’re sure to encounter at this stylish store!

Shortly after first applying the spoon and fork decals, they began to peel off. Yes, I had cleaned the wall and, no, it wasn’t damp. I’m convinced it’s simply the nature of removable decals, but I was certain that wasn’t going to deter me. After all, I’d only spent $15 on the pair and desperately wanted them to work. I scoured the Internet for solutions and found this adhesive spray from 3M. It cost a little more than the decals, but for just over $30, our kitchen now has a great new accent that doesn’t present a problem when someone slides past the table to sit in the corner chair.

Kinda fun, huh?
