Color Inspiration for a Cheery & Sunny Workspace

by Landis Carey on June 24, 2011

Last night I was clicking around the Internet seeking color inspiration for our third floor office/craft room overhaul when I came across these beautiful (super inspiring!) images from The Purl Bee. I actually loved the one below so much that I featured the DIY project today on Re-Nest. I’ve been craving a citrus scheme but didn’t realize I had the beginnings of one until I saw these images.

We currently have grapefruit-colored chairs and an orange lamp that will fit perfectly in the scheme; the red couch that’s also in our third floor office space could be interpreted in so many ways, but it will be a perfect compliment when combining the current decor with yellow accent paint and a few splashes of green.

I’m so excited about this little weekend project, I can’t wait to share the outcome on Monday! Let’s hope for photography-friendly weather on Sunday!

Happy Friday, friends! What are you all up to this weekend? XO
