Color Therapy: Gray Walls and Warm Accents

by Landis Carey on February 18, 2011

Arriving home to New Jersey this morning was definitely disorienting. Not only were we weary from our redeye flight, but the world was also super bleak in comparison to sunny LA…but what wouldn’t be this time of year? I know we’re lucky that the snow and ice have melted, but now I’m ready for the jonquils and tulips to pop-up in the garden. Hard woman to please, huh?

Remember when I mentioned yesterday that the outside world is very much a part of our interiors? Well, such is definitely true in the wintertime…

…when its bleakness creeps inside, making me realize it’s time to make our warm-colored floors, furniture and accents pop.

And what’s a better way to do that than with a little gray-colored paint? My favorite brand is Benjamin Moore, and I’ve been dying to try their no-VOC lineĀ Natura. Check-in on Monday to see if I made a trip to our local True Value!

Happy Friday, friends! I hope everyone has a warm-colored, sunny weekend!
