Décor Hunting at Santa Monica’s Weego Home

by Landis Carey on February 15, 2011

I had a great walk yesterday through sunny Santa Monica. The weather was lovely, I got to stretch my legs and I found a few fun home decor accents, one being Bubble Glass Terrariums from Weego Home.

Hand blown in the US from recycled glass, Weego Home’s terrariums have beautiful visual texture. While their uneven surface delightfully reflects light in a seemingly delicate manner, the pieces are sturdy, dense and stable.

Standing anywhere from 9 inches to 20 inches tall, the terrariums are sold in three different sizes: small ($130); medium ($175); large ($250).  Since each terrarium is handmade, no one is the same, which I absolutely love.

Prices don’t include airplants or the succulents and rocks displayed here, but that’s part of the fun. Further individualize your display by creating your own succulent garden with rocks and sticks you find just outside your door.

Like it?  Love it?  Tell me!

L.O.V.E the Bubble Glass Terrariums from Weego Home! So many uses for them – hanging them secured by the knotted rope is so cleaver. I can see one hanging in my NYC apt window right now. Thanks for sharing, Landis!

Thanks, Amanda! More hunts to come, especially in NYC. I’ll keep you updated on any great registry items I may come across!
